Service Hoists & Dumb Waiters

Service lifts generally come in two formats. Trolley lifts with entrances at floor level and Dumb Waiters which have a serving height set typically at 800 mm above floor level, making placing and retrieval of goods easy. Both are generally available at relatively short notice, some 'off the shelf', however, they only come in pre-set sizes and capacities.

Trolley Lifts

	Typical car size 1000 mm square x 1200 mm high
	Capacities up to 300 kg
	Typical pit required 350 mm
	Landing protection via either swing or bunching doors
	Car protection (highly recommended) via a picket gate.
	Car interiors baked enamel, primed, galvanised steel or
	stainless steel.

Trolley Lifts - Optional items

Include, motor room doors, stops over 4 landings, I phase motors, and key control, intercom and door open buzzer. Safety gear to the car and or counterbalance. This is dependent on shaft and location.

Dumb waiters

	Car interiors baked enamel or stainless steel.
	No pit required.
	Capacities up to 100 kg.
	Landing protection via manual rise and fall shutter doors.
	Typical car size 500 mm wide x 320 mm deep x 800 mm
	high, rising to 820 mm square x 1200 mm high.
	Car protection (highly recommended) via manual rise and fall
	shutter doors.

Dumb waiters - Optional Extras

Include, heated car, removable shelves, I phase motors. Stops in excess of 4, lift intercom, door open buzzer, key control, motor room door.
